Here's some pictures of some of the finished projects!!
These are 4th grade "Falling in Space" pictures. They had to trace their feet and glue them on white paper. On the white paper they had to draw a picture of themselves as if they were falling in space. After they drew this they cut everything out and put it on the grey paper and used oil pastels to make the background look like space. Then, they were "Falling in Space"!
Third graders loved making these vases symmetrical, decorating them and adding flowers. Afterward we added mosaics for a table effect. They were SO excited to take these home for their parents!
Fourth graders need to work on their cursive handwriting so we did this project with their names. They had to write their names then go over them with Black Sharpie. After they traced from the back to get the opposite look on the other side of the paper. Classmates helped each of them decide what their name looked like it could become with some help! Great time and great work on cursive!!
Symmetrical fish bowls were a lot of fun with second graders! They had to cut out the bowls and decorate them with fish in them. The backgrounds were done with construction paper and tissue paper in a collage. They had to cover the back of the paper and then put the fish bowl on the front on a oval made to look like a table. FUN project!!
